About
Our Story

A 1970 bakery, still family-run.

Glauber's Kosher Bakery opened its doors on Maple Avenue in Spring Valley in 1970. Three generations of Glaubers have worked the counter, run the ovens, and kept the recipes alive.

In 2022, New York State Senator Elijah Reichlin-Melnick presented the Glaubers with the Empire Award, recognition for decades of feeding food-insecure community members and showing up, day after day, for 55 years.

Ranked #1 of 82 restaurants in Spring Valley on Tripadvisor. Known for overnight potato kugel, chocolate fudge cake, Ukrainian coffee cake, and the Thursday Night Buffet. Come through the 'Nearly New' building driveway to find us.
